These are interesting times we are living. While half the world is in lockdown, the transport industry is playing a crucial role in the supply of the goods that are necessary to overcome this crisis.

Remote driving behaviour coaching ideas

\n

At times like this it’s even more important for employers to have active contact with their employees. This is important not only for work reasons but also to support them on a personal level.

\n

If you’re one of our Driving Behaviour dashboard users, actively coaching your drivers, continue doing so. Keep working towards your goals in this area and seek to actively engage drivers in improving their own driving behaviour.

\n

Keep it simple

\n

Be specific, clear and focus on a few tips.  Be it direct messaging, or a quick call to a driver who should be aware of their improvement, giving feedback and tips to your drivers need not be overly complicated.

\n

Give drivers access to their own data

\n

An engaged driver will have more interest in their own driving behaviour than someone who feels detached. Provide drivers with access to their own profile on the dashboard, and make sure that drivers still receive their monthly Driving Behaviour report even if this is done by email or other means.
